so the story goes, that i don’t do weddings, and the truth is, sometimes i do…under certain circumstances. when lisa contacted me with the idea to do several photo shoots, consisting of before the wedding, the wedding day and after the wedding, all to use in a compilation album, rather than typical wedding day photography, i was pretty eager to jump on board. that really sounded like something i’d love to be a part of. saturday was the day of the wedding, so i stopped by for some shots of her getting all dolled up and of her and tyler surrounded by their loved ones.
every wedding starts with a glowing bride being made even more beautiful…i love how fierce the make-up artist looks while she’s in the zone.
that’s a hot pair of shoes and there was no way i could resist.

so, i’m posting quite a few of the make-up. it’s funny, i’ve really been itching to photograph an artist and their medium recently…this works.

lisa’s niece, courtney, was enthralled by all of the hair and make-up fun going on. this was her, trying not to miss a second of it.

i love this.
we ventured outdoors to grab some shots of madison and courtney, both of lisa’s nieces, where max and sage felt like they seriously needed to be involved.
madison reminded me of my oldest, in that, she was like this the entire time! i love a reader.
wow! is all i can say. this girl can work the camera.
i love how families seem to converge upon the kitchen.

stunning.
i was taking the following shots when lisa walked into the room…just lovely.

the happy couple.

congrats tyler and lisa!

I LOVE these…I will redo my wedding just so you can do these…haha

Thanks Jessica! You know, we could do a “Trash the Dress” session (no trashing required) if you wanted to strut your stuff in your wedding gown again.

I enjoyed this peek at your work as always…and the WILD thing is…I recognized Tyler! He was our neighbor for several years when we lived in Gilbert!!! Small world.
