i can’t believe it’s been three days since this shoot and i’m just now blogging it. on my way home from the session, i was so excited about it that i was certain i’d have it blogged by that night before i went to bed.  anyhow, strolling around downtown chandler with kinsley, and her parents, dennis and jada was loads of fun. i love photographing kids at kinsley’s age, it’s the best kind of challenge and so rewarding to see the shots i’ve walked away with. i love the fact that the images are always so true to the child’s personality…there are no fake smiles or poses when you’re a year and a half old. the giggles, laughs, pouts, tears, and kicking-and-screaming tantrums are all real. but, for the record, kinsley didn’t actually have any kicking-and-screaming tantrums.

that’s one of the most amazing kissy faces i’ve ever had the pleasure of capturing. perfection.

beautiful little brown-eyed girl. i love all of her teeny tiny features.

so, if you follow my blog much, you may know that it’s sometimes the smallest, least obvious detail that strikes my fancy in an image…in this one, it’s the curl.
