my birthday, spent huddled with my loves and my feet up by the fire (which my family gave me for the birthday). next, chopped veggies…i actually find chopping veggies (and as an honest-to-god vegetarian, not a “french fry vegetarian”)…i chop A LOT. then, well i may not indulge often but that doesn’t mean i don’t let my sweet kiddos have a sweet treat from time to time and it certainly doesn’t mean i don’t adore these lovely little sweetheart cupcakes. finally, i just found this comical. it’s the floral display at target…totally empty from “bring your teacher flowers day” in our district.

who says a lump of coal isn’t fun? or that reading isn’t cool? or that bubbles aren’t the MOST fun? or that mommies can’t get a wagon ride from their awesome little guy?

and finally…HAPPINESS IS THIS (and not just for her, either. it fills my heart with all kinds of happy.).
