these two sweet sisters are honestly, two of my very favorite subjects. i know i say that frequently about clients, i guess i’m lucky. while i’m in the midst of an insane packing extravaganza, i felt like i needed to share a few shots of these amazing little girls before closing up shop for the move.

mielle. i know i say it every time…best name i’ve ever heard.

grace. it’s always such a struggle to decide on which “grace faces” i’m going to blog. i don’t know how i ever actually decide. i guess i just go with what speaks the loudest to me. this one is a favorite for sure. so real. so in the moment. not to mention, those eyes.

i can’t believe how much mielle has changed just in the few months since i’ve photographed her. i’ll be back in phx for sessions in the spring, i’m hoping to be able to see how much she’s grown from now to then (hint hint, mom and dad
.

grace melted my heart to goo as she told me how much she’ll miss me taking her picture. i promised i’d be back to do just that.

yes, mielle actually wrote her name. you can choose to believe me or not.

looks like mielle is following in her sister’s footsteps with the expressive “faces”.

after some shooting we wrapped with some chit-chat and cupcakes. it looks like mielle was a fan of the pink glam cupcake.
…plus saturday, the newest member of the family.
that’s so much cute wrapped up in such a tiny package. click for more

Girls! You are sooo beautiful! Two of you I have never met but remember that you are gorgeous! Hannah, Emily, ...
just a glimpse of a wonderful session last night with some of my very favorite clients (and friends). the schroeder girls are always amazing to photograph and every time i’m around them i’m stricken by how cool they are. they’re the kind of kids that even people that don’t really love kids, would love to hang with. i have many clients that are the cats pajamas that’ll bring me back to phx for sessions, but even if i didn’t, if these four were the only one’s…they’d totally be worth the trip.
i had a rather fun time with macie, max and roxie (their mom, dad and dog jake too). we did plenty of chatting, reading, hanging upside down and puppy wrangling.
macie, a lovely little girl, inside and out. i was thoroughly impressed with macie’s excellent reading skills.
max, a mighty sweet little one who was so kind to show me his favorite toys.
