that’s a whole lotta griffs and where there are a lotta griffs, there are a whole ton of laughs. this was no doubt, the funniest shoot i’ve ever done. this family is just plain awesome. i love ‘em. i know a couple of them well, and would love to know all of them well. simply, a wonderful group of people living through “it”, it being life and all it dishes out and giving each other a leg up, a pat on the back, a shoulder to cry on or punch in the nose (whatever it takes).

i’ve been so excited to post a few shots from this session. while it was such a pleasure to spend a sunday evening with this beautiful family for many reasons, i have to admit, a big reason for my excitement…chickens. goofy, i know. photographing a precious little girl with the chickens that she dearly loves, excites me.

i’m working on getting this particular little client’s gallery uploaded today…couldn’t help but post this shot when i ran across it again.

the weekend’s over and it’s back to work! let’s get this work week started right,  with a post of a super cool family. i’ve photographed for the johnston’s twice before and this time was a little extra special with the added bonus of casey’s sister, ashley and her little guy, grady joining us for a great session. i had a blast with these guys…grace never fails to deliver a super silly time, mielle was full of wonder and exploration and little grady was nothing short of perfection!
