…in the making. claudia wowed us with more cupcake greatness yesterday when she made cherry vanilla-bean cupcakes for a friend’s birthday. these are my favorite to-date.

i recently uploaded all of my iphone photos to my computer, after almost a year of not doing so. as i looked through all of them i realized how much i really do love the iphone camera (i know, i’ve said it before). i use it daily. the fact that i’m able to act on inspiration, without hesitation, like it’s a natural reaction…is truly a gift. it’s allowed me to document my life thoroughly. obviously, the images it creates aren’t high quality so i’m not totally certain what i’ll do with them but i’m working on some test prints of storyboards. if all goes well, i’ll share the results. the following iphone images are a few that span the last 10 months or so.

to be specific, some iphone fun plus a little burst of happy to rev up this late spring weekend. enjoy. i hope you’re inspired to capture a little happy yourselves, with a lens or however you please.
my birthday, spent huddled with my loves and my feet up by the fire (which my family gave me for the birthday). next, chopped veggies…i actually find chopping veggies (and as an honest-to-god vegetarian, not a “french fry vegetarian”)…i chop A LOT. then, well i may not indulge often but that doesn’t mean i don’t let my sweet kiddos have a sweet treat from time to time and it certainly doesn’t mean i don’t adore these lovely little sweetheart cupcakes. finally, i just found this comical. it’s the floral display at target…totally empty from “bring your teacher flowers day” in our district.

My iPhone pictures never turn out looking anything like that. Nice!
i never want to pass up an opportunity to shoot, although sometimes i don’t feel like lugging out the “big camera”. this is where my iphone comes in, it’s truly a glorious tool for capturing moments on the fly or when i just want the challenge of basically just using literally what i have in my hand, nothing fancy. these shots are from a little lunch date at Luci’s Healthy Marketplace that my husband and i shared with natty-like-a-cat yesterday. i hope you’ll be inspired to capture some great phone photography.
i touched on this topic in my most recent podcast as well. check back soon to give it a listen, you can find the link here.

not counting the pretty people there is one that really stands out to me...take ur best guess.
